Pack, Repeat now uses AI to build your packing list. When creating a new trip, the app looks at the tags you select—beach, business, hiking, and more—to generate a complete AI packing list tailored to your trip. Already have a list started? The app analyzes your trip details, destination weather, and what you've already packed to suggest items you might have forgotten.

How the AI Packing List Works

Start with Tags

When you create a new trip, you can select tags that describe what kind of trip it is. Beach vacation? Business conference? Hiking adventure? Select the tags that apply, and the AI uses them to build your packing list.

Tags include things like Beach, Business, Camping, Hiking, Skiing, International, and more. You can combine them freely. A business trip to a beach destination? Select both. The AI considers all of them when generating suggestions.

Once you've added your tags and trip details, tap "Add Suggested Items" to generate your AI packing list. Instead of scrolling through categories and adding items one by one, you get a curated list based on your specific trip. Review the suggestions, uncheck anything you don't need, and you're ready to start packing.

Suggest What's Missing

Already have items in your list? The Apple Intelligence button in the toolbar analyzes what you've packed and suggests things you might have forgotten.

The app considers:

Your trip name and description
The tags you selected
Your destination
The weather forecast for your dates
What you've already packed

Based on all of this, it suggests items you might be missing. Heading to the beach but forgot sunscreen? It'll catch that. Business trip without a laptop charger? It'll remind you.

Weather-Aware Suggestions

Your AI packing list adapts to what's actually happening at your destination. The app pulls weather data for the next 10 days, so if your trip is coming up soon, the suggestions reflect the real forecast.

Rain expected? You'll see umbrella and rain jacket suggestions. Cold snap coming? It'll recommend warm layers. Hot and sunny? Sunscreen and sunglasses make the list.

International trips get passport and travel adapter reminders. Domestic trips don't. The app pays attention to these details so you don't have to.

Privacy First

All AI packing list suggestions happen on your device using Apple Intelligence. Your trip details, packing lists, and travel plans never leave your phone. No external servers, no cloud processing, no data collection.

Getting Started

The feature requires iOS 26 and a device that supports Apple Intelligence. If your device is compatible, you'll see the Apple Intelligence button in the toolbar when viewing your packing list, and the "Add Suggested Items" option when creating a new trip with tags.

Still Improving

This is a beta feature. Apple Intelligence will get better over time as Apple updates their models. We'll keep refining the AI packing list to give you more relevant suggestions.
